About Me
Hey! My name is Lisa-Marie Zikesch and I am a doctoral researcher at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research at the project „Shifting Narratives: Misperceptions and Factual Information on Immigration“. I recently completed my master’s degree at the University of Mannheim in "Political Science". Next to my studies, I worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Professor Gschwend at the University and for the Summer School for Women in Political Methodology. I hold a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Organizations from the University of Groningen. I am interested in working with spatial data and the effect of proximity on topics related to migration and political behavior.

Doctoral Researcher at "Shifting Narratives: Misperceptions and Factual Information on Immigration"
The project led by Dr. Korinna Lindemann investigates how factual information on immigration policies and democracy-related attitudes held by immigrants can affect political behavior, preferences and attitudes. Surveys and experimental interventions are carried out in Germany and Switzerland.
